Meet the Owner
Hunter VanderWorp
Hunter is the founder and heart behind VM Pools. He is a U.S. Army veteran, husband, father, and long-time concrete craftsman who built HMV Concrete before expanding naturally into full pool construction. While working alongside other pool companies, he noticed homeowners often received the wrong design, unclear expectations, and a lack of honest guidance. That’s what sparked VM Pools a company built to do better. Outside of construction, Hunter coaches wrestling in Middle Tennessee, where he leads young athletes with the same values he brings to the jobsite: work hard, stay disciplined, be honest, and take pride in the result. With Hunter involved in every project, clients get a builder who truly cares about the outcome not just the pool, but the family that will live around it for years to come.
